Same coastline, completely different perspective

Same coastline. Completely different perspective.

It’s funny how something familiar can feel entirely new when you look at it from a different angle. That’s exactly how I think about HR policies.

For a lot of people, HR policies are static, compliance-driven documents—something you have to have, but rarely want to read - until something goes wrong.

But what if we looked at them differently?

What if policies were designed to reflect your culture, not just your obligations?

What if they actually helped people understand “how things work around here” in a way that feels clear, human, and usable?

A fresh perspective doesn’t just change how something looks—it changes how it works. That’s the approach I take when I create HR policies: practical, people-first, and built for real life in the workplace (not just a file on a shelf).

When was the last time you looked at your policies from a different perspective?
