I’m Melanie Grandfield, a freelance HR professional with over 25 years’ experience working in HR across both the public and private sectors.

I started my career in Jersey, before moving to London to work and study for my Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources Management. I returned to Jersey in July 2002, where I have lived and worked ever since.

I am married to Aaron and a working mum to three sons, balancing family life with a career I care deeply about.

In 2022, I founded High Tide HR, a consultancy dedicated to helping organisations create better places to work through practical, culture‑first HR solutions. I now partner with businesses of all sizes to strengthen their people practices and support positive, sustainable workplace cultures.
